"When I placed my Yahoo! Personals ad on a lonely Valentine's Day, I reasoned to myself that life's important choices - schooling, career, etc. - were not left to chance, so why should I expect relationships to be any different? Three months later, I met my fiancé, Aaron. Two emails, followed by one four-hour phone call, led to our first date two days later. We became nearly inseparable. When I asked Aaron why he loved me he said, "because you're not normal and neither am I." I don't know how we would have found each other if not for Yahoo! Personals. May 8 marks our two-year anniversary. On Oct. 18 we will exchange our wedding vows. Now if I could only convince my sister and maid-of-honor to try Yahoo! Personals!"

"I was traveling home from a trade-show on Valentine's Day, it was rainy, and I had large things to carry. I decided to find a man. I used the service for about three months, during which time I dated nearly 20 men."
About their first date
"Our first date was dinner in a restaurant, followed by mochas and a stop at a dive bar where we talked. I don't think either of us felt nervous. I was becoming a pro at the Yahoo! date by then. We were comfortable with each other from the beginning. I had to cancel our third date because I was violently ill from food poisoning. Aaron took off work early and drove all the way to my house, stopping to pick up crackers, Jell-O, and soda on the way. He saw me in the worst possible light and still liked me! Two weeks after we started dating, Aaron left on a vacation to Hawaii. He returned after I left for a two-week trip to Europe. We were separated for nearly a month and I realized I must really like him since I missed him."
About their plans for the future
"Live in wedded bliss in our new home! Our dog is going to be the "flower" dog in our wedding. We're also going to get another dog and cat. Aaron plans to start taking allergy shots - he's allergic to cats, but thanks to me, he never wants to give them up."
